Ball Joint Weekend
Well, I just finished the ball joints on our Suburban, and I have to say I’m in no hurry to do that again. It’s a colossal job, which you need all the right tools for and for each tool you don’t have the exact right version of, add another hour or two to the job. I spent about 9 hours yesterday doing the driver’s side, and about 5 hours today doing the passenger side.
I don’t have any brake fluid, which I have to have before I can drive it anywhere… so I have to wait until tomorrow to ride my bike up to the auto parts place and pick some up. Then I can bleed the brakes and finally take it for a test drive.
If the shaking isn’t fixed, I swear I’ll cry. :(
