Merry Christmas!
It doesn’t really feel like Christmas, but we’re having a pretty good one. I think we’re chomping at the bit to get back out on the road, and that’s taking the magic away.
Things were starting to look pretty rough, financially… but thankfully some payments came in at the last minute so we got to go Christmas shopping for the kids. We have money from MumbleDog of course, but it’s all in US funds in US banks, making it difficult to spend here (unless I Paypal it to myself, but that’s a bit of a scam).
Duncan didn’t seem super excited when he first woke up that Santa had visited - indeed when he came out and saw the presents under the tree, he assumed they were all Elly’s. Once he got the message though, it was on for young and old.
We had to have breakfast before presents of course, which took a bit of convincing. After scarfing down some toast and cereal, it was time for presents. Duncan did quite well from all the family members, though I’m not sure how we’ll go taking things on the road with us.
We still have Christmas dinner and everything to go, then it’s out to work on the car some more so we can get back on the road on the 4th.
