ING Reprieve?
After emailing back and forth with the various reps at ING, it appears they’ve decided to give me a reprieve. My wife’s name isn’t on the account, and my only ties to the US at the present time are a US phone number accessible only through Google Voice.
Things will of course change eventually when we begin the process of going back to the USA, but at this point I’m happy that I just don’t have to worry about dealing with it for now. Now if I could find whatever’s left of the pittance I had in superannuation with OnePath, I’d be a lot happier.
