New Toy: Linksys SPA-3012
Today while browsing through the local thrift shop, I found a Linksys SPA-3012 for five bucks. I’ve wanted to experiment with VOIP telephony for a while now, and I figured five bucks was a small price to pay - unfortunately I don’t know when I’ll find time to play with it as things are pretty hectic at the moment.
Groogle suggested MyNetFone a while back for a VOIP provider, but even their cheapest plan looks like a bit too much commitment for what I want to test. I’ll probably go with something like Gizmo5, even though they’re a bit more expensive on a per call basis.
