Finally fixed the Sprinter’s indicators
It’s been quite some time now since I bought another indicator stalk cluster from a wreckers to replace the one that I’ve been limping along with, but I finally got it installed today. It’s quite a lengthy job, involving removal of the driver’s airbag, the steering wheel and several other parts, and the steering wheel requires a torque wrench and loctite to put back on correctly.
I also managed to trip the SRS system again, while doing so, so I had to reset the error code in order to get the light on the dash to go out… annoying, because the USB-RS232 dongle for the scan tool took forever to get it to behave itself!
