Fixing fwaggle.org

While trying to fix an annoying issue with one of my templates, before I have to upload the entire site to S3 again (as every single page will have changed), I decided to validate my page’s HTML5 using W3C’s “nu” validator. It turns out there’s a heap of errors in there from a cut-and-paste hatchet-job!

I thought I’d found a bug in Pelican, because it wasn’t encoding the spaces in the links to Google Maps in the meta box, but it turned out I’d just neglected to include a |urlencode in the link generator. :(

I’m still not 100% convinced that I’m done mucking with the templates, so the blog is still currently on hiatus, but hopefully I’ll get it done and pull the trigger on the upload soon.

I’ve also considered changing the design as well, but I never do well at finishing them. :/

Edit: Fuck it, pulling the trigger on the upload. That’ll help me remember what I wanted to do before I did a full re-sync.
